#45 Red-faced Warbler
This sweet singer’s bright red sets it apart from all other North American warblers save for the Painted Redstart. The bird’s primary home is in Mexico, but it also breeds in New Mexico’s and Arizona’s high-elevation conifer forests. Unlike most warblers, the males and females are both brightly colored, and they keep these colors year-round, molting only once.
